Spectacular and unique dinosaur screensaver
What do you get if you mix 3D graphics with dinosaurs? The answer is something like 3D Canyon Flight for Mac OS X Screensaver which offers a unique screensaver for Macs.
3D Canyon Flight for Mac OS X Screensaver flies through a photo-realistic 3D canyon full of living pterosaurs. Quite why the developer chose this particular dinosaur I'm not sure (and it would have been nice to have seen more) but there's no denying its a pretty cool effect he's created. To add to the atmosphere, there are also special effects such as sun flares, fog, shadows and realistic spatial sounds (which you can deactivate).
The graphics are truly impressive in 3D Canyon Flight Screensaver - it's almost like watching an animated film at times. It's shame there aren't other prehistoric creatures to marvel and the options are limited to turning the sound on and off but for spectacular appeal, it can't be knocked.
